What this site is
artprofile.net publishes evidence-based professional profiles of artists. Every public item is a reference to material that is already public (press, festival programmes, institutional pages, social-media posts), shown with a link to the original source and, where available, an internet-archive copy.
What we collect
- Visitors of public pages: nothing beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested page), kept by the hosting provider for a short time for security purposes.
- Signed-in artists: when you sign in with Google we receive your e-mail address, name and profile picture from Google. We store only the e-mail address, to link you to your own profile, together with the actions you take in your personal area (confirming, rejecting or correcting items, and suggestions you submit). We do not receive or store your Google password and we do not access any other Google data.
How we use it
Your e-mail is used only to let you into your own personal area. Your confirmations and corrections are used to curate your profile. We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising and do not share it with third parties except the hosting provider (Google Cloud, EU region) that runs the site.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or to remove your profile entirely, by writing to director@mentee.group. Signing out ends the session; sessions are stored in a signed browser cookie only.
Cookies
One session cookie is used to keep you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
