Terms of service

1. Service. artprofile.net provides artists with a verified public profile assembled from publicly available sources, and a personal area to review and curate it. Use of the site is free.
2. Accuracy. Public items are shown only after validation by the artist or a human reviewer, but the site relies on third-party sources and gives no warranty that every item is complete or error-free. Report mistakes from your personal area or by e-mail.
3. Your content. By confirming or suggesting items you confirm the information is true to your knowledge and authorise us to display it on your public profile. You may withdraw an item or your whole profile at any time.
4. Third-party sources. Linked sources and archive copies belong to their respective owners. We quote them only to the extent needed to identify the evidence.
5. Acceptable use. Do not attempt to access another person's personal area, submit false information, or disrupt the service.
6. Liability. The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for decisions taken by third parties (for example visa or grant authorities) on the basis of a profile.
